Freedom of Information Act (FOIA)

All Freedom of Information Act requests must be submitted in writing to the City’s FOIA Coordinator, the City Manager.

It is the City’s responsibility to respond within five business days or to request an extension of ten business days. By the adopted FOIA Policy, fees may be charged for labor, materials, and postage.

An individual has the right to undertake an appeal for a denial of a request or a fee charged.

The Freedom of Information Act Policy, Public Summary, and FOIA Request Form may be obtained at no charge from the City Manager’s Office.
